so that's all the notes i took from lecture three but i am able to expand from there. it is quite obvious that technology and computers have come along way since the 70's. today we now have portable computers (also known as laptops) and phones that enable us to access the internet. not to mention the creation of iPods, DVD players, digital cameras and other products that are able to be accessed by the computer.
there are also many other uses for the computer such as music. it enables the user to download and play music but a computer can also be used to create music. a musican can hook up and mic and with the right programs create a demo of their own music themselves. this clearly saves on recording stuido fees. computers have also allowed users with an interest in photography to create digital masterpieces. with the creation of photoshop and other image programs, users are able to touchup their photos and create amazing effects that were not possible 50 years ago. the computer also enables film makers to create, edit and post their works.
the computer offers limitless options when it comes to the arts but it also offers those same things for businesses. without the computer many things in our lives would not be possible. this shows that we have come along way since the 70's when computers were only used by government and miliarty. today nearly most western households contain a computer and the internet. this is a big step up from 10 years ago when hardly anyone had a computer or a cell phone. the looks of these objects have also changed as well. they've gone from being big, bulky and not all that good looking to slim, compact and stylish. technology today has become a fashion and if you dont have the latest trend then you arent up to date.
well that's my blog from lecture 3. until next time......
